AFF is a working farm, on dirt roads, it can be muddy at times keep that in mind while packing. The weather forecast can change quickly, we recommend packing warm and cool cloths even if the forecast does not call for it ahead of time. .
You must wear closed toe shoes while working with the dogs.
We strongly recommend that you do NOT wear hoop earrings, long necklaces, or anything that hangs off your person, as these can be caught by a dog’s paw, causing damage or injury to you or the dogs that you are handling.
You may want to wear a hat and sunglasses when you take a dog for a walk. Sunscreen is very important as there isn’t much shade on in walking areas.
Also, ticks can be an issue at the farm. Be sure to check yourself for ticks at the end of the day.
Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash can be provided open request.
