SPAY NEUTER GRANT
Animal Farm Foundation will reimburse not-for-profit organizations up to $50 per spay/neuter surgery that is provided at low, or no-cost, to “pit bull” dog owners.
To qualify, the spay/neuter services must be provided as part of a program that is voluntary, respectful and accessible to all “pit bull” dog owners* who may need assistance in paying for, or understanding the benefits of, pet health care.
*Dogs must be owned. Those dogs awaiting adoption or in the care of a humane organization are not eligible.
New in 2013: Due to increased demand for the Community Training Grant and the Spay/Neuter Grant, Animal Farm Foundation has made some changes to these programs. Applications for these two grants will be accepted only between January 1 and March 1 of each year. Decisions regarding distribution of these grant funds will be made by March 30. All other grants will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis and can be applied for at any time.
