"I AM AN INDIVIDUAL" GRANT Dogs are individuals, and so are adopters. Blanket policies that require special applications, home checks, experience or “only dog” homes are just a few examples of bad shelter policies that can keep “pit bull” dogs from going home. Animal Farm Foundation awards shelters and rescues that have removed barriers to adoption and now facilitates adoption matches by treating dogs and adopters as individuals . Tell us how your organization has changed polices and removed barriers to adoption for “pit bull” dogs. Include a story of a “pit bull” dog adoption match that showcases your organization’s new commitment to treating all dogs and adopters as individuals!
