ADOPTION MARKETING AWARD Lights, camera, action! Better photos, more videos, and a push to reach a wider audience will result in more adoptions, positive “pit bull” dog PR, and more lives saved. Animal Farm Foundation will award an Adoption Marketing Grant to organizations that demonstrate creative marketing strategies that will result in more “pit bull” dogs going home. The $1,000 grant can be used for the equipment, props, printing, or supplies needed to turbo-charge your “pit bull” dog marketing plan! Learn More
KENNEL ENRICHMENT GRANT Does your organization run a successful enrichment program? Would your program benefit from additional resources? Shelters and rescues that have successfully implemented and maintained a kennel enrichment program for six months or more may be eligible for a $3000 supplemental grant. The supplemental grant can be used for toys, treats, equipment, or supplies needed to expand or maintain your enrichment program. Learn More
SPAY NEUTER GRANT Animal welfare organizations best serve their communities when they develop strong partnerships within the community, utilizing each organization's strengths to offer opportunities for low-cost and accessible spay/neuter services for every dog owner. Most owners “pit bull” dogs are just like any other dog owners and given the opportunity, they will use accessible services to care for their pet. To encourage the development of a sustainable and accessible program, Animal Farm Foundation will reimburse qualifying spay/neuter programs up to $50 for the cost of each spay/neuter surgery for dogs appearing to be pit bulls. I AM AN INDIVIDUAL GRANT Tell us how your organization has removed barriers to adoption for “pit bull” dogs, including the story of an adoption that showcases your organization’s humane approach to making good matches based on personality rather than labels. Animal Farm Foundation will award selected shelters and rescues with $2,500. Learn More
COMMUNITY DOG TRAINING GRANT Working as a team with their human companions, dogs of all shapes and sizes have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen® test and/or the APDT Canine Life and Social Skills Program (C.L.A.S.S) and are now recognized as valued members of their communities. Animal Farm Foundation provides an Incentive Award to encourage dog and owner teams to earn their AKC CGC® certification or their APDT Canine Life and Social Skills Program (C.L.A.S.S) Bachelor's Degree Title as a way to support their community's shelters and rescues. While all dogs are welcomed to participate, Animal Farm Foundation will award $150 to pre-qualified participating organizations for each "pit bull" dog and owner team in their community who successfully complete the CGC or C.L.A.S.S. program. YOUR PROGRAM, YOUR IDEAS GRANT Animal Farm Foundation’s “Your Programs, Your Ideas” grants allow qualifying organizations to submit funding proposals that do not fit into one of our established grant categories. We have used this program to fund initiatives for socialization, adoption, research, and education. As with Animal Farm Foundation’s other grants, submissions for “Your Programs, Your Ideas” should support our mission to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs. Learn More
